Description
Stihia N+ is a pilot mini-forum that explores how human creativity is changing our present and imagining new futures.

The forum is part of the daytime events held at the Stihia electronic music festival.

The project is a collaboration of government, researchers, innovators and business leaders.

The purpose of the forum is to gather creative minds with carefully commissioned program with the aim at inspiration and networking.
Speakers
Alisher Abdullaev
Geneticist
PhD in Biological Sciences, Deputy Director of the Center for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Disciplines: genetics, molecular biology, plant biology.
Farida Maksumova
Art expert
Director of the Autograph Art Gallery in Tashkent. She worked at the Uzbek Academy of Arts for decades. Organizer of many art festivals and cultural days.
Disciplines: the history of art, painting.
Alisher Sanetullaev
Nuclear physicist
PhD in Physical Sciences, executive director of the Tashkent branch of National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute). Worked in USA and Canada research institutions.
Disciplines: experimental nuclear physics.
Amir Abidov
Engineer
Director of the award winning startup - Lotus Engineering that focuses on nanotechnology. Disciplines: molecular physics, materials science.
Shamshod Yunusov
Economist
He is a co-founder of the NGO "Center for support and development of the communities Taraqqiyot." He is currently engaged in improvement of the infrastructure gaps at grassroots through civic engagement to decision-making, having many years of experience in participatory improvement of the state of drinking water in the villages of Uzbekistan.
Disciplines: sociology, knowledge management, community capacity building
Mirkhan Sagitov
Sport activist
The leader of the Tashkent running community and a member of the management committee of the Tashkent International Half Marathon "Navruz".
Disciplines: running, marketing, production.
Format
It will be panel discussions for each speaker.

Discussions with moderator will be followed by Q&A session.

Discussions will be in English and Russian.

There will be simultaneous translation.
